Opening days and hours

In 2026, the castle AND the park will be open :
– during the long weekends in May;
– from Saturday, July 4, through Sunday, September 20, inclusive;
– on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, 2026.

Please note: We do not accept credit cards (checks or cash only).

EXTREME HEAT: Since the water in the restrooms is not safe to drink, please plan ahead and bring your own bottles of water.
Despite the 2.70m-thick walls, the current temperature inside is 25°.

Reservations are NOT required, except for groups of more than 14 people.
The ticket office opens 15 minutes before the start of each tour. If you arrive late, you will not be able to join the tour.

IMPORTANT : Please note that all guided tours are only in French. You may be given booklets with the tour text translated, but you must stay with the group throughout the tour. Private tours in English are available; please contact us.

Open every day except Monday.
The castle and park will be open on Tuesday, July 14, and Saturday, August 15, during regular hours.

The castle can only be visited as part of a guided tour, at:

SEPTEMBER 2026 (Monday, August 31, through Sunday, September 20; Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27)

Open everyday except Monday and Tuesday.

Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, 2026: Heritage Days -> adjusted visiting hours. More information to come.

Due to its length, the guided tour of the castle is strongly discouraged for children under five. However, the question-and-answer stations along the park trails, as well as the visitor brochure, will allow them to explore nature and the site.

The PARK is open on the same days as the castle, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (self-guided tours).
